Garfield and Oddie
Garfield is a lazy fat cat. He lives with his master, John, together in a big house. Garfield likes sitting in a comfortable armchair in front of the television, eating his favourite popcorn and drinking coffee. He loves playing tricks on his master.
One day John took some books home in a box. He left the box in the sitting room when he got into his room for his study.
Garfield was very excited getting into the box. He imagined that he was on a car racing ride on the street. He drove faster and faster. He nearly hit another car. The crowd was getting wild. Garfield became thirsty. He drove to the Pizza stall and bought a drink. He drove past all the other cars. Now he was very very near to the finish line. Then he was waken by John.
John was back and stopped Garfield's dream.
John brought Odie into the house. Odie was happy to play with Garfield but Garfield didn't want to share the box with Odie. Odie kept jumping into the box that Garfield liked. At last Garfield let Odie played with him in the box. They imagined starting their boat journey drifting in the middle of the sea. They felt weak and hungry. They were waiting for the rescue. Garfield was counting the days while Odie was wondering what to do. Garfield thought about the food he could eat. He was looking at Odie. He dreamed that Odie turned into a huge hamburger with lettuce, tomato, ham, and cheese. When Garfield licked the hamburger, Odie licked him back. They were then stopped by John.
